Haven't slept a good sleep in like 4 or 5 days. I've slept, but for maybe a couple hours at a time. I'll get it in right this morning when I'm off work. I can feel it.
Recorded a couple videos over the last few days to take a break from a follow the leader thing I have going with a man of the German persuasion who also happens to be a lot better than me with a ball. It's interesting, but I wanted to get out there a bit to change my pace.
I totally a 360, which is nice. I've wanted one for a while. DoodSpace and Bro Gaiden 2 will keep me occupied until next paycheck when I find myself a kawaii little LCD. Don't want a big one, 19-22 inches is just peachy.
I didn't think I'd be as blown away with Dead Space as I am. Really lots of fun, and they make it SO dramatic. Also, I stood in a vacuum staring at a distant moon for as long as I could without dying. It was oh my god gorgeous, and we don't even have one of them fancy pants HD television devices I keep hearing about. Good things. So good that I don't even have a want for xbox live, at the moment.
Um, let's see. I've made great strides in staff manipulation. Taking a break this week to allow my body to repair. It was a harsh one, increased training regiments, etc. Lots of pain, bruising, and such. Focusing on CJ and buugeng this week. Contact theory is improving. Style is evolving. Technique needs work. Exploring two ball manipulation with single ball concepts. Infantile at the moment. Different world. It's funny because I'm fine with 3 balls, and for the most part 4. 2 is just a whole ordeal.
Buugeng is fine. Displaying greater staff control recently. Keeping things in plane (flat) more so than previous weeks. Still exploring possibilities. It seems like a limited class of movements are available due to the shape. People would think most double staff skill sets can be applied, and I'm just not seeing it. Maybe I don't know enough about using two staffs. MCP and Maldonado are working on a double staff DVD, Dai (made my buugeng) makes an appearance in it. That's enough for me to buy it. If only to just see what Dai is up to.
Hm. Might go to best buy tomorrow to feel out some LCD's. Been internetting them, comparing prices, brands, etc. Would like to see them in the flesh. Sounds like a good time sink. I don't care about the unit's sound quality (have logitech speakers and they are gweat forever). All I care about are the outputs. Ultimately being able to stream video games on the internet would be nice. Not exactly necessary, but it's a plus. But it's definitely about picture quality and outputs for me. Slight emphasis on the product design since I'll be staring at it. But it won't make or break a deal for me if it isn't pretty and glossy like my ipod. Those attributes don't affect performance, so yeah. Also a plus if its sexy though, for sure. Why does it have to be so complicated? God.
